Promotores de Salud’s success depends on the dedication and commitment of our volunteer promotores. Thanks to their knowledge, skills and efforts, thousands of Hispanic residents in our community have received the information they need to support a healthy lifestyle.
But promotores could not receive the necessary training and materials health encounters without the support of friends, educators and other individuals in the community.
That’s why everyone in the Harrisonburg, Rockingham County and the central Shenandoah Valley is encouraged to be a part of Promotores de Salud. Your contributions support program activities that help reduce health disparities, build capacity within our area’s all-important Hispanic residents, and create a healthier community for the health of all.
