Promotores de Salud - Support
Promotores de Salud began as a grass-roots effort to improve the health and well-being of area Hispanic residents and has always received generous support from the Harrisonburg-Rockingham community.
Today, as it has since 1999, support for Promotores de Salud
- Reduces health disparities in our community
- Empowers Hispanic residents to become participants, partners and directors of health care in their families and communities
- Improves the health of the Harrisonburg-Rocking and central Shenandoah Valley’s socially and economically important Hispanic population
- Builds capacity within the area’s Hispanic community
