Schedule an Interpreter
CHIS uses an on-line scheduling system developed by Fluency, Inc. to manages the daily process of accepting appointment requests, scheduling interpreters, verifying payroll submissions and invoicing customers. It is a secure system and requires a unique user name and password to access. If your office would like to start using the on-line system for scheduling interpreters, please call the CHIS Office. Hands-on training will be provided.
Interpreters can also be scheduled by faxing an Interpreter Request Form to the Blue Ridge AHEC confidential fax unit at (540) 568-3172. We ask that Interpreter Request Forms be faxed no later than 48 hours prior to the appointment, if possible. Feel free to call the Community Health Interpreter Service at (540)568-3011 between the hours of 8:30 am and 4:30 pm if you have questions about filling out the form.
